The various named scholarships offer the opportunity to participate in the studio programs of major opera houses in Berlin, Munich, Madrid, Turin, Amsterdam, and Vienna, and provide both a stipend ($16000) and travel expenses ($6000) for a time period of 10 to 11 months, starting in September. The awards are geared towards singers at the beginning of their professional careers (18-30 years old), and are open to US citizens or permanent resident card holders.
