Bio:

Rachel Roberts has navigated both the non-profit performing arts and higher education sectors, having held unique positions in both. In 2018, she was named Eastman School of Music’s Associate Professor of Music Leadership, leading the new MA in Music Leadership. In 2021, her role expanded to include serving as Director of the Institute for Music Leadership. In these roles, Rachel oversees and manages all institute activities and programs, and the Paul R. Judy Center for Innovation and Research. Rachel served as Director of Entrepreneurial Musicianship at New England Conservatory, Director of Strategic Planning Engagement for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and was a Fellow with the League of American Orchestras’ Orchestra Management Fellowship Program. Rachel holds a Bachelors of Music in flute performance and an Arts Leadership Certificate from the Eastman School of Music, a Masters in Education from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education from University of Rochester’s Warner School of Education.
