Katie Hagen is a versatile violist, performing on both modern and period instruments. She’s recently appeared in performances with West Edge Opera, California Bach Society, Chora Nova, and the Stockton Symphony, among others. Katie completed concurrent undergraduate degrees in viola performance and physics at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western Reserve University and completed her Master of Music degree, Performer’s Certificate, Arts Leadership Certificate, and coursework toward a DMA at the Eastman School of Music. She currently freelances as a violist in the San Francisco Bay Area and works as a data scientist in the tech industry.
