Bio:

Josh Gagnon is a trombonist, photographer, and creative professional based in Boston. Encouraged by his supportive family, Josh began playing trombone at the age of nine. Josh developed a passion for jazz while surrounded by the rich improvised music scene in New England. As a student at the University of New Hampshire and the Eastman School, his interests were given direction and focus by acclaimed teachers such as Chris Oberholtzer, Kendall Moore, Mark Shilansky, and Mark Kellogg. Today, Josh works in account management at the entertainment startup MHW Live Music. Josh maintains an active calendar of professional jazz and commercial performances throughout the East Coast as a member of the acclaimed group the Soggy Po Boys, and as a freelancer in Boston.
