Bio:

Benjamin Guerrero is currently adjunct faculty at Eastern Mennonite University and Preparing Future Faculty Fellow at James Madison University where he teaches music technology courses. Ben is also a PhD student in the Music Teaching and Learning department at the Eastman School of Music. Ben earned a Bachelor’s in Drum Set Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production from Berklee College of Music. He received his Master’s in Music Technology from New York University. Ben previously taught percussion and music technology classes at El Paso Community College in Texas, as well as various middle schools and high schools. He has presented at state, regional, and national music conferences including: NAfME, National Association for Music Education Eastern Division, Symposium on Music Teacher Education, College Music Society, Association for Technology in Music Instruction National, Biennial Meeting of the Society for Music Perception and Cognition, and the International Society for Technology in Education Convention.
