Bio:

Adam Green is an arts administrator and percussionist. His passion is finding meaningful ways to connect people to the arts. As a former member of the Air Force Band in Washington, D.C., Adam managed the Concert Band’s national tours and marketing teams developing outreach products as they traveled across the country. In 2015 and 2023, he was selected for two military deployments performing in a rock band across the Middle East. In 2021, he was appointed as a Commissioner for the Arts in Arlington, Virginia. Adam currently serves as Chair, playing a pivotal role advocating for the arts to the County Board. After completing his 21 year career in the band, Adam joined the team at American Voices as the implementing partner for the Department of State’s Arts Envoy Program. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Adam enjoys playing ice hockey, cooking (especially BBQ), and spending time with his family.
