There is currently a vacancy for a permanent collaborative piano accompanist vacancy at Greece Olympia School (6th through 12th grades).
The position involves:
- Accompanies school vocal music groups and vocal or instrumental soloists at rehearsals, concerts, competitions and recitals, and in daily classroom instructions
- Assists the music teacher in preparing classroom materials;
- Accompanies individuals and small groups of students as an adjunct to the regular teaching program, under the direction of the vocal music teacher;
- Works directly with students individually and/or in small groups engaged in “hands on” activities related to instruction;
- Demonstrates different piano and other musical instrumental styles;
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
