Description:

Christ Episcopal Church in Pittsford, NY is seeking a bass/baritone choral scholar for the 2026-27 choir season. The church has an active choir of 25 members, including 8 paid choral scholars. The choir sings weekly for the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service and rehearses on Wednesday evenings 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The choir also sings for special services throughout the year, including vespers, evensong, concerts, Christmas Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve, and throughout Holy Week. Compensation is $120/week with additional remuneration for extra services. The church is about a 20-minute drive from Eastman. Applicants who don’t have access to a car should be able to coordinate transportation with the other scholars coming from downtown.
