Piano Accompanist Needed for Elementary School Chorus
Do you enjoy working with young musicians and helping bring choral performances to life? Our elementary school’s 4th and 5th Grade Chorus is seeking a pianist to join our music team for the upcoming school year.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a collaborative musician who enjoys working with children and making music in a positive, energetic environment. Our chorus is made up of enthusiastic young singers who are excited to learn, grow, and perform. We’re looking for an accompanist who can provide strong musical support, build positive relationships with students, and serve as a dependable member of our music team throughout the school year.
Position Responsibilities
- Accompany weekly chorus rehearsals
- Collaborate with the chorus director to prepare students for performances
- Accompany scheduled concerts and school performances
- Support students’ musical growth through accurate and expressive accompaniment
- Attend occasional additional rehearsals as needed
Schedule: School A
Rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30 PM – 4:20 PM (begins 9/23)
Location: Paul Road Elementary School (Gates Chili School District)
Performances: Approximately 4-5 concerts/events throughout the school year
Schedule: School B
Rehearsals: Mondays and Thursdays 8:00 AM – 8:50 AM
Location: Neil Armstrong Elementary School (Gates Chili School District)
Performances: Approximately 4-5 concerts/events throughout the school year
