• Registration:
o Advising students and parents about Hochstein programs and curriculum
o Registering and scheduling students through ActiveNet registration system; schedule adjustments, credits, and financial adjustments as needed o Processing Tuition Assistance applications and overall oversight of tuition assistance application submissions in collaboration with Front Office Coordinator o Acting as a resource for parents, students, and faculty to trouble-shoot any issues as they arise
o Serving as the main contact with faculty and students/parents on student attendance issues
o Overseeing and administering Hochstein’s student instrument rental program
• Engaging in annual Faculty Review process, as assigned by Dean of Students and in coordination with Department Chairs o Observation of new faculty, writing up assessments, and conducting followup meetings with faculty and department chair o Helping assess continuing faculty through faculty activities report, teacher evaluations, and other feedback mechanisms
• Participating in new faculty hiring process with Deans and Department Chairs
• Engaging in programmatic conversations and decisions with other Dean Staff and President/Executive Director as needed
• Working with Staff Accountant and Director of Finance & Accounting on past-due account information and processing drops • Representing Hochstein at selected special programs and events presented by the School (both onsite and off-site)
• Advising and supporting Front Office staff when on duty as Assistant Dean
