Bio:

Sarah Bertrand is a versatile young leader, artist, and fundraiser. As an artist, Ms. Bertrand premiered new versions of Louis Karchin’s art songs, as well as a newly orchestrated version of Cendrillon by Viardot. She has led artists as an administrator at Si Parla, Si Canta, organized professional events for Federico Sacchi (bass), Ksenia Leletkina (author and coach), and Dillon Cassidy (painter), as well as the first Gender Equity in Music Conference at the Eastman School of Music. In her role at Houston Grand Opera, Ms. Bertrand is responsible for the management of over 200 individual donors, the planning and execution of all annual fund campaigns, and oversees the operations of the philanthropy department. Ms. Bertrand holds a Bachelor of Music from Southeastern Louisiana University, as well as a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Literature and Master of Arts in Music Leadership from the Eastman School of Music.
