The classes and internships not only gave me real life experience but opened my eyes to areas of the music world that I could never have imagined.”

Natalie received her BM in Trumpet at the University of Regina and MM and DMA at the Eastman School of Music. After graduation, Natalie was appointed interim head of brass at Montana State University and won Assistant Principal Trumpet in the Regina Symphony. Upon moving back to Rochester, Natalie began teaching at SUNY Brockport, managed operations of an event band, became COO of Sonic Era, and coordinated interns for the Rochester International Jazz Festival. In 2021, Natalie was appointed Executive Director of Innovation Arts Management, where she oversaw the renovation of The Theater at Innovation Square. After meeting with performing arts organizations in the city, she helped to develop the Theater’s operating structure with the goal of being a venue that contributes to long-term sustainability of local organizations.
