Bio:

Freelance tuba artist and composer Jeffrey Meyer resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he teaches and performs with the Triangle Brass Band and has performed with the Durham Symphony. His music has been played by the wind ensembles at Northern Illinois University, Minnesota State University Moorhead, DePauw University, and Washington and Lee University; and his works have been performed at the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival and the Southwest Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference, to name a few venues. He has served as the principal tubist with the Springfield (Missouri) Symphony and interim principal tubist with the Xalapa Symphony in Veracruz, Mexico. He has also performed as a substitute tubist with the Mexico City Philharmonic, Roswell Symphony, Mansfield Symphony, Fountain City Brass Band, etc. He has been a faculty member of the Cleveland Institute of Music, Sul Ross State University, El Paso Community College, the University of Guam, and more.
