Bio:

Brittany Harrington approaches her work as a bassoonist through multiple lenses—as a performer, educator, chamber musician, and coach. She serves as Professor of Bassoon at the University of Puget Sound, where she fosters creativity, collaboration, and curiosity in students of all levels. Brittany is a founding member of The Breaking Winds Bassoon Quartet, a globally recognized ensemble known for its innovative blend of classical performance and pop culture. With the quartet, she has been a featured artist at the Beijing International Bassoon Festival, the International Double Reed Society conferences both nationally and internationally held, and with premier wind ensembles across the United States. In addition to her performing and teaching, Brittany is a Certified Professional Coach and a published arranger, with selections of her chamber works available through TrevCo Music Publishing.
