From the heart of volunteer nation*, Sarah talks about the importance of volunteers. *The football team of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville is the Volunteers and Tennessee is affectionately referred to as the ‘Volunteer Nation’. Sarah is a fan of the Memphis Tigers, but lives in the heart of Vol nation.

In this installment I discuss the various aspects of teaching. How do you become an effective teacher? How do you motivate students to practice, and how do you call out the ones who don’t practice in a positive way?
