Steve Danyew\u2019s music has been hailed as \u201cstartlingly beautiful\u201d and \u201cundeniably well-crafted and communicative\u201d by the Miami Herald, and as possessing \u201csensitivity, skill and tremendous sophistication\u201d by the Kansas City Independent. In addition to composing, Danyew is adjunct faculty at the Eastman School of Music, teaching courses focused on helping young musicians craft their own creative careers. He is the contributing author for the Lessons from a Street-Wise Professor: What You Won\u2019t Learn at Most Music Schools by Ray Ricker (Soundown, 2018). In 2020, Danyew and his wife Ashley created Musician & Co., a new resource that equips 21st-century musicians to be both artists and business owners. The mission is to provide an innovative model for bridging the gap between the practice room and a profitable business.
