Malinda Wagstaff is a warmhearted first year graduate student at Indiana University where she studies with Carol Vaness. She achieved her bachelor\u2019s degree at the Eastman School of Music under the tutelage of Ruth Hennessy. In the spring of 2020, Malinda performed the role of Angel More in The Mother of Us All with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. She was awarded 1st place for her division in the Coeur d\u2019Alene Symphony\u2019s Young Artist Competition. Prior to their cancellation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Malinda was scheduled to sing Beggar Woman in Eastman Opera Theatre\u2019s production of Sweeney Todd and the title role in Mediterranean Opera Studio Festival\u2019s production of Suor Angelica. Malinda works as a teaching artist for \u201cWhat is Opera Anyway?\u201d which works to bring opera education to a variety of platforms.
