Save the Date! Grant Proposals Due October 1st for Research and Innovative Projects
June 27, 2018 In: PRJC News, Sound BitsHave an idea related to “innovative ensembles” that you need funding for? Summer is a great time to work up a grant proposal for our October 1, 2018 deadline. Grants are available in two categories: research and innovative projects. The grants are intended to support projects that relate to the theme of innovative ensembles – creative, artist-centered ensembles that reflect new models of artistic innovation, organizational relationships, and operational sustainability.
Recent research grants including the following projects:
- Indy Classical: Hip Consumerism and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra/New Amsterdam Partnership
by Natalie Farrell (Indianapolis, IN) - New Music Theater and the New Music Ensemble by Ryan Ebright (Perrysburg, OH)
- The Aesthetics of “Indie-Classical”: Music in the Age of Post-Postmodernism by Anna Reguero (Stamford, CT)
- Community Gamelan in America: Identifying Best Practices in Ensemble Management by Gamelan Dharma Swara (New York, NY)
