- A leader with demonstrated skills in arts management
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage a diverse community of stakeholders
- Experienced in nonprofit fundraising
- Visionary, creative, passionate for the arts, and strong work ethic
- Strong integrity to support the BPC’s values of artistry and community.
- Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 annually commensurate with qualification and experience
- Benefits: Health insurance reimbursement; paid vacation/holidays
- Work arrangements: In-office work required in Buffalo, NY with hybrid schedule
- Work with the Board President, Board of Directors, Music Director, staff and members to foster growth in alignment with our Strategic Pillars of Artistry, Stewardship and Community.
- Oversee operations including hiring and management of staff.
- Manage BPC finances in collaboration with the Treasurer and President/Board Chair.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive development plan, building on our strong portfolio of annual giving, government and corporate support and grants.
- Elevate the level of community engagement and education across the diverse communities we serve.
