About this event:

Fifth House Ensemble’s flutist and Executive Director leads a conversation on how her personal experiences growing up in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual home and family developed her skills as a cultural chameleon. Her current work leverages the capacity to create connections and common language to generate projects that engage international partners, source collaborators from wildly diverse disciplines, and result in genre-defying artistic experiences. This session explores how learning to listen and engage with team members from diverse backgrounds, whether of culture or expertise, leads not just to inclusion but to richly rewarding work.
