About this event:
Guest Speaker, Marilyn Guadagnino LCAT MT-BC, will be discussing her insights from treating adults with severe and persistent mental illness at the Strong Ties Outpatient Clinic for almost 30 years. She will share how she combined her western music therapy knowledge and experience with her interest in mindfulness meditation and yogic techniques from the eastern tradition. Her East-Meets-West approach has launched her career into an exciting new direction using music and sound to help participants experience profound inner awareness and deep calm. She will share how her self-help company, Living Stress Free, has provided a helpful outlet for the use of creative counseling and music-sound therapy for people struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
