About this event:
This workshop will teach artists how to build their brand using different (free!) branding resources, in addition to bets practices for creating a brand image on social media. The workshop will also go over basic design tips and tricks to help the artists create professional and individualized brand portfolios. Synchronous participants will have time for Q&A with the workshop presenter to answer questions specific to their marketing projects.
Note: Workshop attendees have the ability to earn a professional development certificate by completing all workshops in Modules 1, 2, and 3 in this series. Workshop participation can be synchronous or asynchronous; live workshops will be recorded and shared on a closed link, viewable through March 1, 2021. For those that complete all workshops in this three-part series, electronic certificates will be emailed on November 10, 2020 and March 10, 2021.
About the series: This fall, the Ain Center is working with Eastman’s Institute for Music Leadership and a number of community partners to offer a series of online workshops, called Roc the Business of Art, aimed to help artists in the greater Rochester area develop business and entrepreneurial skills. This partnership is through the Arts in the Loop Initiative. This workshop will focus on building your brand.
