Ari Solotoff is a Business and Entertainment Law Attorney at Bernstein Shur located in Portland, Maine. Ari focuses his practice on copyright and media-related transactions, serving clients nationwide in the music, entertainment, arts, and nonprofit sectors. Prior to studying law, Ari worked for over a decade in the classical music industry, where he served as Executive Vice President of The Philadelphia Orchestra, and before that, as Executive Director of the Portland and Pensacola Symphonies. Ari presently serves as Chair of the American Bar Association’s Entertainment and Sports Law Forum, Theater and Performing Arts Division. He has lectured on topics in music, copyright, and law at the New England Conservatory, Oberlin Conservatory, the University of Chicago, and for the League of American Orchestras. He is a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law and the University of California, Berkeley.
