About this event:

Almost all of the common web design mistakes that musicians make can be fixed by following three principles of web design. Thinking of creating or improving a website for yourself, your ensemble, or your non-profit? Learn these principles before you start and save yourself a headache down the road.

Joseph is a music theorist and web developer. As a music theorist, he is working on a dissertation on syncopation in 20th-century American popular music at the Eastman School of Music. As a web developer, his main project is currently an online platform for music theory learning, which he is building in partnership with local entrepreneurs. Joseph offers courses on web design at Eastman’s Institute for Music Leadership, and in the University of Rochester Pre-College curriculum.
